This is a true urban oasis. A paved road runs several miles up a beautiful, forested canyon right on the edge of the city. On odd-numbered days (and weekends), the canyon is closed to private vehicles, turning the entire road into a paradise for cyclists, skaters, and other recreational users. It's a gentle, steady climb up and a fun, easy cruise back down.
